Frederiksberg is a separate municipality that is completely surrounded by the city of Copenhagen. It has its own municipal swimming hall with a spa and water park. The swimming hall is an architectural gem, originally built in the 1930s. It is adorned with paintings and murals by local artists.
The swimming hall has a 25m pool, a relaxation pool, a "black hole" waterslide and a diving tank.
The spa has a sauna (with an aufguss program), two steam rooms a dead-sea pool, whirlpool and infrared relaxation chairs. The spa and swimming hall require swimsuits.
In the lower level is the "luxury department." These are the changing rooms for the spa. These are separated by gender, and swimsuits are forbidden here. The luxury department has its own sauna, steam room cold plunge and swimming pool. Admission to the pool and luxury department can be purchased separately from admission to the spa.
